Steel Cowl Induction Hoods

PBMotorsports.com is proud to offer Goodmark Industries entire new line of steel cowl induction hoods. These hoods are available for a variety of GM cars and trucks. The hoods are die-stamped and feature fully detailed inner structures, so they don't look ugly when you open the hood. You can also use your factory hood latch, hinges, and springs, and not be afraid of the hood blowing off at speed. All hoods have about a 2-3" rise on the cowl scoop, which gives you a great look without impairing your vision out the windshield. And perhaps the best news is that the cowl induction is fully functional, which can only help in the HP department.

All hoods come EDP coated. Electro-Deposit Primer (EDP), is an electrically-charged primer that protects parts from rust and corrosion. Parts with an EDP coating have been tested for 500 hours under a salt spray solution to check for corrosion.

The only surface preparation required is scuffing up the surface for better paint adhesion. No stripping is required. The part is protected from rust as long as the EDP coat remains under the paint.
